Dr Kingston was superb!!! Kind, caring, professional. Everything was fully explained, and for me, most importantly, I was listened to about my concerns. I was nervous but felt very safe in Dr Kingston's hands. A superb surgical team, great nurses and health care staff as well as cleaners who were helpful with simple things like working the tv! I can honestly say that I dont think Dr Kingston could have bettered the care I received from her and the whole team. Outstanding

Thank you for your kind comments and feedback following your operation. I'm really happy to hear you felt your experience and care could not have been any better. I believe in discussing openly and honestly the care I can offer to patients so they can make decisions about what is the best choice for them, and I think having a good understanding of what to expect makes the whole process more manageable. I hope you are making a good recovery from your procedure and wish you well for the future.

From beginning to end my care was second to none. I was completely off the idea of a spinal block, but had one under Liz’s recommendation for recovery. So glad I listened to her! What a great experience, I would highly recommend the block. It’s now 8 hours later and still no pain. Talked me through everything that was being done and I actually didn’t feel a thing , I think it’s just the anticipation of the unknown. Before I knew it I was in recovery. So thank you to all the team, because everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this kind feedback. We often recommend combining spinal anaesthetics with a general anaesthetic to improve pain control after a number of surgeries, and I'm glad the pre op visit gave you the information you needed to be able to access that option for your care. It's really common for people to be wary of spinal anaesthesia, but often with discussion and explanation we can clear up any concerns. Thank you for sharing your experience so that other patients can have more confidence if they find themselves in a similar situation. Wishing you well for your recovery.

This Dr was so compassionate and understanding, I suffer from PTSD because my daughter died she was a Organ Donor I walked her to the theatre doors then afterwards insisted to see her again, that image haunts me but Dr Liz Kingston let me walk around the theatre which made me more at ease, the care from them all was second to none..

Thank you for your feedback on the care you received. Occasionally there can be challenges with care, and it is important that this is fully discussed with patients afterwards so that they can warn future doctors of an expected issue and ensure the most effective equipment is available in advance. Every patient is a partner in their own care, and one of the best sources of information about previous problems, so it is vital that any challenges are fully shared and clear information given for future reference. I hope you are recovering well from your operation, and would be more than happy to care for you again in future.
